Social Work Day at the Legislature March 2010

I always say that spending a day at the capitol you really have to roll with the punches. We had two of our scheduled speakers held up in the appropriations committee. The agenda went out the window and we were almost preparing to do a song and dance to keep everyone's attention. A special thanks to Representative David Lujan for coming to talk to us on such short notice. And a special thanks to Representative Kyrsten Sinema for fighting for us in the house appropriations committee. It was a good day today with approximately 70 in attendance.
